Serves as the Senior Information Officer. The Senior Information Officer is responsible for designing and managing the communications strategy of the Parastatal Monitoring Department (PMD) to enhance stakeholder engagement and public awareness of the Department’s role in monitoring parastatal entities. This includes overseeing the production and dissemination of information across electronic, print, and digital media and coordinating national outreach and public relations campaigns. The role also involves advising on media and communication policies, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, supporting policy development, and fostering collaboration with government agencies, media houses, and regional and international stakeholders. Additionally, the officer is tasked with building internal communications capacity, preparing reports and briefings for senior officials, and representing the Department at official meetings and events.
