The agency spearheads Saint Lucia’s National Export Development Effort, focusing on increasing exports, improving profitability, and securing long-term sustainability for businesses. It manages trade networks, develops strategic export promotion plans, and allocates resources for export growth. Governance includes an advisory body, the National Export Council, comprising representatives from key sectors such as commerce, industry, tourism, and government ministries. The Minister appoints members, including a Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson, with terms lasting up to three years.
