The National Conservation Authority (NCA) is responsible for the beautification and maintenance of public spaces, beaches and protected areas in Saint Lucia. Established under the National Conservation Authority Act, No. 16 of 1999, it replaced the Parks and Beaches Commission Act of 1983. The Ministry of Tourism, Investment, Creative Industries, Culture and Information currently has oversight of the NCA.
